No, notifications are not sent automatically. When the price changes, you will be prompted to inform customers. With one click, all notifications will be sent.
You can add the storefront form automatically or manually. In auto mode, the Price Watcher form is added to your product page automatically. In manual mode, you'll need to add it yourself in the theme settings.
